Apple admits Ping was a failure and pulls the plug

Most of us saw the writing on the wall the minute Steve Jobs introduced us to Ping in September of 2010. It was never going to work and now Apple has finally agreed.

Apple has confirmed that it will remove Ping from the upcoming update of iTunes.
