Apple announces next generation iPads and iMac with 5k Retina Display

Apple held a special media event this morning in their headquarters at Cupertino at which they unvieiled  the iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and a 5K Retnina iMac The iPad Air 2 features:

• 18% thinner than the previous model and the world's thinnest tablet
• A8X Chip which is 40% faster
• All new iSight and FaceTime Camera
• Touch ID (Finally!)

The iPad Mini 3 will now also include Touch ID.

The iMac features:

• 27 inch 5k Retina Display
• World's highest resolution display
• 45% Faster

Apple also released OSX Yosemite the next version of their operating system for the Mac as a free download today and say that iOS 8.1 will arrive this Monday. iOS 8.1 will feature a slew of bug fixes and bring back the Camera Roll that many users have been screaming for.
