The Verge has reported it has received it's invitation for Apple's long rumoured media event to launch the iPad 3.
The invite says "We have something you really have to see. And touch".
From the photo it looks like this is indeed the Retina display we been reporting on.
The event will held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10AM PST, on Wednesday, March 7th
