The Telegraph is reporting that Chinese manufacturer "in icons" has been threatened with legal action from Apple over it's intent to produce a Steve Jobs's figurine. The figurine is an unbelievable resemblance to the late Steve Jobs and comes complete with his trademark blue jeans, black turtleneck jumper, Nike shoes and round rim glasses. According to the report:
"The legal wrangle is over the likeness of the doll to the late Apple founder, the rights of which the company claims it owns.
Apple reportedly stipulates in a letter to the Chinese manufacturer that any toy that resembles the technology company's logo, person's name, appearance or likeness of its products is a criminal offence."
Apple did succeed in blocking the sale of another Steve Jobs doll back in 2010.
