Apple's largest store in the world is set to open this Friday in New York's iconic Grand Central Station. There has been some controversy surrounding the opening with Apple reportedly paying the equivalent of around $60 per square foot where most retailers are averaging around $200. The MTA has released a statement saying that this doesn't take into account the $5 Million Apple paid to buy out the previous lease nor the reported 2.5 million they are spending in renovations. Either way this will surely be the flagship store for Apple.
Rob Pratt has taken a cool video of the digital flip board they currently have up below. We'll get you more photos once it opens.
