Well, it's been a long time coming but Facebook today has finally released it's official iPad app. There were rumours that Mark Zuckerberg was to join Tim Cook on stage at the iPhone 4s launch last week to announce the Facebook app but it is believed he was bumped from the lineup the night before.
The app itself is fantastic and feels like how Facebook was meant to be used. Many will find it hard to go back to using Facebook in a browser after experiencing it on an iPad.
Viewing your news feed is a pleasure, it's much less cluttered and the iPad was built to be able to flick through your albums with just your fingers, the experience is just so much more immersive.
