The Unicode Consortium has decided on 137 new emojis which will be headed your way later this year. Some of these will be variants on existing emojis but 69 will be brand new!
emojipedia.org has mocked up the above images to give us an idea of what to expect. I think my new favourite will be the flying saucer.
