Set in the year 2517, the series followed the adventures of the crew of Serentiy a "Firefly-class" spaceship. The series was turned into a movie in 2005 and now is coming to an iOS device near you as an online game!.

MacRumors reports: "The game, which will be officially licensed, is in development and will have players recruiting a crew and leading missions, while trading goods with other players. Gamers will be able to customize their games and play with friends across both iOS and Android platforms."
