I love my Fitbit and use it everyday but one of the drawbacks is that it's not great at tracking bike riding or swimming as it's not waterproof (bad news if you leave it in your jeans!)
Let me introduce you to Shine by a new startup called Misfit cofounded believe it or not by former Apple CEO John Sculley. The shine is carved out of a solid piece of Aircraft grade aluminium (isn't everything now?). It tracks everything you can through at it and is also waterproof.
