I've looked at a lot of the Navigation Apps in the App Store but just couldn't bring myself to part with the hefty price tags they were asking, besides google maps was serving me just fine.
Then I found Sensis' Whereis App which is completely free and works like a charm.
The App is everything you could hope for and has most of the features of the more expensive offers.
Simply type in the name of the business your heading to and chances are it will find it using Yellow Pages. You can of course type in the address manually and Whereis also utilises your address book.
The App offers turn by turn navigation, let's you play music in the background, gives you voice direction and also automatically re-routes your course should you miss your turn.
Whereis only works in Australia and if you're a Telstra cutomer doesn't include the data charges towards your plan.
