With the introduction to iOS 5, Apple finally let's us use the volume up key to take photos, making the camera app feel a lot more natural. One of the unexpected bonuses of this tweak is that you can now use the volume up button on your Apple headphones as a cable release for the camera app.
This is huge news for photographers using the iPhone as their primary camera (of which their a lot - the iPhone and iPhone 4S are the most popular cameras on Flickr). Thanks to Macworld for the tip!
