These are apparently leaked photos of Apple's new dock connector to replace it's current 30 pin version with the launch of their new iPhone.

There has been plenty of speculation that Apple will replace it's 30 pin connnector with a new slimmer connector when it announces the new iPhone this Sept. Many people have reported that the connector will be 9 pins and these photos seem to confirm those reports (the metal frame is counted as a grounding pin.)

It also looks like the connector will be able to be plugged in either orientation.
