Apple is "actively investigating" Jennifer Lawrence hacked iCloud photo scandal

So in case you haven't heard, Jennifer Lawrence and a heap of other female celebrities have had their iCloud accounts hacked and in Jennifer's case had some revealing "Selfies" posted on the internet. Apart from the fact that this is just the lowest of lows it has brought into question just how safe is Apple's iCloud. Apple released a statement to recode saying: “We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report"

Some reports have pointed to a flaw in Apple's 'Find my iPhone" service (patched yesterday)  which allowed users to guess passwords repeatedly without any kind of lockout effectively letting users brute force their way through the front door.

The moral of the story is simple. Please don't upload your "private" selfies to the cloud unless your considering a career in that direction!
