9to5 Mac is reporting that they have found reference to a new Apple TV deep inside of IOS 5.
If Apple did update the Apple TV, it would probably include the new A5 Chip they've just included with the iPhone 4s and be capable of delivering playback of 1080p (finally!)
Many are still hoping that Apple will open the door for an App Store for the Apple TV to pave the way for native apps on the device. This could then bring apps like Air Video and AVPlayer which would finally let us play any movie format.
We can always dream !
