Wunderlist - Task Management for every OS

Today I want to review a beautiful task manager App called Wunderlist from the new kids on the block 6Wunderkinder.

Now before I start, I have a confession - I'm a GTD junkie, constantly searching for the next productivity App that's going to fulfil my ever growing need to organise my life.

I've been through all of them and for a time, like many people, settled with Cultured Code's Things. My problem with Things though, is that I've spent over $100 on their software including Mac, iPhone and iPad and there is still no cloud sync even though they've been promising it for over 2 years.

Wunderlist on the other hand, is racing ahead with a roadmap that is hard to believe. So far it has been developed for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, Linux and Android. It supports list sharing and effortless cloud sync and here's the kicker - it's all free!

Wunderlist doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of it's counterparts (no tags or contexts for example) but it is it's simplicity and sheer beauty that are Wunderlist's strengths. For the first time in a long time, I find myself actually doing my tasks instead of endlessly sorting and prioritising them.

6Wunderkinder were only founded in August 2010 in Berlin (which is quickly becoming the new Silicon Valley of Europe) and are hard at work on their fully fledged productivity project called Wunderkit, which they they have promised to release before the end of the year.

In the meantime, I've finally found a task manager that has made organising my life - well, fun !
